Finnish Max Sjövall and Australian Dominic Bechard continue their strong performance in the FIP Silver Melbourne tournament. They won convincingly against the Australian pair Blake Brookman and Jason Wright in the second round of the main draw in straight sets with scores of 6–3, 6–4.

The victory pushed Sjövall and Bechard into the quarterfinals, where they will face an intriguing pair. On the court, the 52-year-old Swedish tennis legend Jonas Björkman will play alongside Australian Sam Ashenden. The quarterfinal match will be played on Saturday afternoon.
