Victory for Waris and Sjövall in the First Round of the FIP Rise Tournament in Belgium
Finland's Axel Waris and Max Sjövall won against the British pair Jake Bewley and George Weller in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 in the first round of the main draw of the FIP Rise Roeselare tournament on Friday, 29.11.2024, in Belgium.
With the victory, the Finnish pair advanced to the second round, where they will face the tournament's top-seeded Dutch pair, Bram Meijer and Sten Richters.
Meijer is ranked 172nd (154 points) and Richters is ranked 169th (160 points) in the FIP rankings.
The Finns will face the Dutch pair in the second-round match on the morning of Saturday, 30.11.2024.
