Saska Huttunen Chosen as the Best Padel Player of 2024
The Sports Journalists' Association's Athlete of the Year Committee has named the best athletes in various sports based on the past year's achievements and competition success.
The tradition of annually selecting the best in each sport began in 1946. Initially, only a few sports were included, but over the years the range has continuously expanded. The best of 2024 were named in 84 sports.
The Sports Journalists' Association's Athlete of the Year Committee chose Saska Huttunen as the best padel player of 2024.
Last year, Huttunen achieved, among other things, the Finnish championship of indoor courts, two Finnish Padel Tour tournament victories, and a league bronze medal with Padel Tampere.
Huttunen also held the top spot in the domestic men's ranking at the end of last season, and he was part of the men's padel national team in 2024.
