Premier Padel Finals Barcelona results
The Premier Padel Finals season-ending tournament was played in Barcelona, Spain, from December 19th to 22nd, 2024.
The venue was Palau Sant Jordi indoor arena. The event was the 24th Premier Padel tournament of the season.
The Premier Padel Finals featured the top 16 female and male players based on ranking points accumulated during the 2024 season. Players were free to form pairs for the final tournament.
In the men's tournament, one of the biggest surprises of the season occurred when Spaniards Jon Sanz (ranking 13) and Coki Nieto (ranking 12) defeated the season’s dominant number one pair, Spaniard Arturo Coello, and Argentine Agustin Tapia, in a three-set battle in the final.
Sanz and Nieto secured their second tournament win of the season. The first came in France at the Bordeaux P2 event in June.
The final in Barcelona was the last match together as a pair for Sanz and Nieto, as both will start the 2025 season with new partners.
For their final opponents, Coello and Tapia, it was already the twentieth final of the season. The pair had won nine previous tournaments before the final tournament in Barcelona. The final also ended their 47-match winning streak. The pair's fabulous 2024 season resulted in 14 tournament victories.
For the first time in history, the final tournament also included bronze matches.
The third place in the men's category was secured by Argentine Martin Di Nenno and Spaniard Juan Lebron.

The women's tournament victory was claimed by the top-seeded pair Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez, who defeated the second-seeded experienced Gemma Triay and 18-year-old Claudia Fernandez in straight sets in the final. All the players in the final were Spaniards.
Josemaria and Sanchez, who dominated women's top padel over the past two seasons, won ten tournaments in the 2024 season.
Final opponents Triay and Fernandez won six tournaments during the season. The final in Barcelona was the last match together as a pair for Triay and Fernandez, as both will start the 2025 season with new partners.
The third place in the women's category went to Spaniard Veronica Virseda and Argentine Delfi Brea.
