Finnish Players Waris and Kampman Participate in FIP Star Tournament in Lithuania
The FIP Star tournament held in Kaunas, Lithuania, features Finnish participants, as top Finnish players Axel Waris (Finland ranking 6) and Antti Kampman (12) start from the qualifiers on Thursday, 7th November 2024. The Finnish pair is seeded as the second pair in the qualifiers and they will advance directly to the second round of the qualifiers, where they will face either the Lithuanian pair Paulius Matulevicius / Robertas Sadovskis or the Italian-Spanish pair Lorenzo Bogarin / Guillermo Fernandez. The winner of that match will advance to the main draw, which begins on Friday, 8th November 2024. The tournament concludes with the final played on Sunday, 10th November 2024.
